Germany, Opening of the Leipzig to Dresden Railway, 1839, AR 26, unsigned, representation of the engine 'Saxonia' (M.314; Swan cat. 299); opening of the Munich to Augsburg Railway, 1840 (2), AE & WM 37, by Neuss, the last with copper plug, bust of Ludwig I right, rev. train with tender and coaches with two passengers on a roof, crossing bridge and viaduct (M.319; Swan cat. 300; Salomons House cat. 60), the copper piece nearly mint state, the others very fine; together with a uniface copper plaque 88 x 65 mm unsigned, depicting the Berlin to Stettin Railway Station, 1843, with engine and tender to right, the background coloured dark grey (M. -; Swan cat. -), traces of glued card on reverse, about extremely fine (4)
