CHRISTOPHER 1862 (11 Feb.) envelope (334x141mm.; folded) from the Governor to London, showing manuscript "Registered Letter", rated "7/9" showing fine circular undated "st kitts/paid" and oval Registered London arrival d.s., all in red, with St. Kitts double-arc d.s. on reverse; the envelope with some peripheral faults and a little soiled, nevertheless a fine example of this rare marking.
