Portugal 1853-84, an outstanding and mostly unused collection on leaves which includes Queen Maria 5r. red-brown unused singles (4) including a fresh, large margined example and a horizontal pair with large margins (small defect on one) and fine used, 25r. mint (2) and double impression unused (tone spots), 50r. yellow-green unused singles (2) and pairs (2, one stamp thinned) plus 100r. lilac good used; 1855-56 King Pedro with 5r. red-brown unused, good colour and large margins (thin), 25r. blue unused (4), 50r. yellow-green unused (6) and 100r. lilac unused (2); 1856-58 curly hair 5r. orange-brown singles (2) and pair, 5r. deep brown singles (2) and pair, 25r. blue with single lines (2, one thin) plus double lines vertical pair and 25r. rose (9) including a left margin block of six (one stamp thinned); 1862-64 King Luis set of 5 (2 sets unused); 1866-67 imperf. issue with some shades and includes 10r. yellow block of four, 25r. rose block of four and values to 120r. (2); 1867-70 set to 240r. shades unused with 5r. double impression. 240r. double perfs.; 1870-84 unsurfaced paper issue with blocks of four 15r., 20r. (2), 25r. (2), 50r. green plus singles including 240r. pale dull lilac; also 1895 St. Anthony set to 100r. in blocks of four.
