Denmark. Christian VII (1766-1808). Royal Degree concerning the Courante Ducat Coinage. 4 pages, 6 ½ x 9", Christiansborg Palace, Copenhagen, Dec. 2, 1782. Handsome crowned C7 monogram with spray on front, King's motto with Orders of the Dannebrog and White Elephant on the back. During this time, the mentally ill Christian was only nominally king, Denmark was ruled by his stepmother Queen Dowager Juliane-Marie. A Very Fine example.
