A collection of World War II censored mail housed in a stockbook (68) in alaphabetical order and showing a variety of censor handstamps and tapes including items from Aden (3), Antigua, Bahamas (3), Barbados (2), Basutoland (2), Bermuda (3), British Guiana (4), British Honduras (2), Burma (2), Ceylon, Falklands including envelope from South Shetlands to New Zealand with 'falkland Islands/ south shetlands/ dependency' c.d.s. and sealed with crowned 'opened by examiner/ 6826' tape, further Falkland Islands censored mail (2) comprising envelope to U.S.A. sealed with 'examined by/ 5707' tape and envelope to Scotland with single line 'passed censor' handstamp in violet, other items including from Fiji, Gambia, Gold Coast, Gibraltar, Grenada, Hong Kong, India, Northern Rhodesia, Sarawak, etc. a good and useful group with some scarcer markings and tapes noted
