(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereigns, 1862, Type IA (6), second large head right, W.W. incuse on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 7.96g, 6h; another, similar, 7.95g, 5h; another, similar, 7.96g, 6h; another, similar, 7.95g, 6h; another, similar, 7.97g, 6h; lastly, 7.96g, 6h (MCE 526; Marsh 45; Spink 3852D), the first with a die flaw to the truncation, all with some rub to the hair and lightly contact marked, mostly wiped, yet some with lustre to legends, very fine to good very fine (6)
