1d. pale vermilion, variety imperforate with clear to good margins and large part original gum; a fine example of this rare provisional imperforate stamp. Odenweller Certificate (1990). S.G. 111a, £4,500 (for a pair)

Note: These provisional stamps were issued during problems with the perforation equipment which occured on several occasions between 1866 and 1873.
