1d. dull carmine, vertical pair cancelled by light '11' barred oval of Port Ahuriri, generally clear to large margins but cut into at foot and at upper right in places; both stamps slightly thinned, upper stamp with small tear at top, fine appearance with strong colour and a huge rarity.
