1873 (28 Sept.) envelope registered to Paris, bearing 1871-76 thin figures 40c. and thick figures 80c. pair and single with "mqe" in lozenge of dots cancellations, showing Fort de France c.d.s., straight-line "charge" at right, deleted on arrival in Paris and replaced by red boxed "r"; some faults but a very rare high value franking of considerable visual appeal.
