1873 (28 Dec.) entire letter from St. Pierre to London via British packet, bearing Ceres 15c. and 40c. strip of three (both with faults and crossed by filing crease) tied by "mqe" lozenges, despatch and red "martinique/paid" c.d.s. alongside, showing red crayon "1/-" denoting the amount due to the G.P.O.
