1867 (8 Nov.) envelope to Toul, signed on reverse by a Lieutenant Colonel and struck on front in blue by octagonal "corresp. d'armées/fort de france" datestamp, both validating the 20c. concessionary rate applied with marginal 20c., complete to huge margins, showing despatch c.d.s. and red French entry alongside, backstamped on receipt, carried by the "Lafayette".
