1862 (27 June) entire (name and most of address removed) from St. Pierre to Bordeaux, marked "Str Vera Cruz", bearing Eagle 1859 10c. bistre (5, all with four margins), all clearly tied, showing despatch c.d.s., and framed "pd" in red; and 1863 (28 Mar.) entire letter from St. Pierre to Agen, marked "par St. Nazaires", bearing Eagle 10c. bistre and 40c. orange (both with four margins) tied by mute lozenge, showing despatch c.d.s. and framed "pd" in red. Note: The Vera Cruz had left St. Nazaire on 14 May 1862 on its first voyage and arrived at Fort de France on its outward voyage on 30 May. It Left Fort de France on its return voyage on 27 June and arrived back at St. Nazaire on 14 July.
