Group of Registratiion cards (4) bearing Large format "ukuanyama/ s.w.a." overprint on 5/- grey and brown South Africa revenue, the first bearing two stamps; payment for 1929 (the first year of the tax) marked "stamps to be affixed" with indistinct oval d.s., the two stamps affixed and cancelled "magistrate/ south west africa" dated almost a year later 14.11.1930; possibly indicating late arrival of stamps or payment or both! A second card bearing two 5/- grey & brown with 1931 pictorial surcharge 5/-, a later card bearing payments for 1943/44 paid with small format revenue 5/- and 1931 3d. surcharged, the final card bearing a 5/- grey and brown SA revenue (one damaged). An interesting group.
