1951-56 Pair of Registration cards, the first card bearing payment for 1951-56 paid with surcharged 1931 postage 2d. blue and brown (3) including bi-lingual vertical pair (the only recorded), 1949 UPU 5/- on ½d. blue-green, (4), 1953 Coronation 2/6d. on 1d. red, and Van Riebeeck Tercentenary 7/6d. on 2d. deep violet, the second card bearing payment for 1952 and 1953 paid with surcharged 1931 postage 2d. blue and brown, both cards endorsed "Paid to 1980" in manuscript at top. Usual faults though still a superb pair, the former card particularly spectacular due to the range of issues used and showing the rate rising over time; by far the most interesting survivor of the seven recorded cards for this tiny tribe with just over 1,000 taxpayers.
