1858 (13 Sept.) double envelope from Hepburn to Locarno, bearing Octagonal 1/- strip of four and a single (all touched in places) and Emblem 4d. on vertically laid paper (2, one affixed over left edge of envelope), all lightly and indistinctly cancelled, showing manuscript "4/2" in red, circular-framed "pd", "Crown/registered" h.s., Calais entry c.d.s., "charge" h.s. and, on reverse, despatch, Melbourne, London (13.11), Basel and arrival datestamps.
