1858 (11 May) treble rate envelope from Sandhurst to Locarno, bearing Octagonal 1/- vertical strips of three (2) and singles (2, one a half only), all cancelled by Barred Numeral "4", showing manuscript "6/-" in red, despatch d.s., circular-framed "pd", "Crown/registered" h.s. and Registered London (19.7) oval d.s., all in red, Calais entry d.s., "charge" h.s. and, on reverse, Melbourne and arrival (24.7) datestamps; the envelope and adhesives with various faults/defects.
