1858 (29 Mar.) envelope from Hepburn to Locarno, bearing Woodblock 6d. pair, Octagonal 1/- vertical strip of four and Emblem 4d. vertical pair (the first two affixed over top edge of envelope), cancelled by poor Barred Numeral "25", showing manuscript "4/2", "Crown/registered", circular-framed "pd" and London Paid transit c.d.s. (21.6), all in red, Calais entry c.d.s., "charge" h.s. and, on reverse, despatch, Melbourne and arrival datestamps; a little soiled, the envelope with top flap missing and the stamps mostly defective. A rare mixed-issue franking. Photo
