Pair of Registration Cards both endorsed "Duplicate" on face, The first paid for the years 1951-52 with 1931 postage 2d. blue and brown bi-lingual pair surcharged "Ombalantu/ 5/-" with diamonds obscuring original value, showing two different fraction strokes se-tenant, with additional single paying 1953 heavily cancelled, the second card franked for the year 1947 with 1931 postage 3d. grey-blue and blue similarly similarly without diamonds obscuring value, very fine. A splendid pair, this lot containing two of the seven surviving cards from this small tribe which provided only 1058 tax payers in 1935. Photo
