1871 (18 Apr.) envelope ex the "Pescia" correspondence to Genoa, bearing 1864 4a. pair and single each cancelled by diamond of 16 thin bars, showing unframed "p.d" in red and, on reverse, "mandalay" c.d.s., both in orange; some minor stains though most attractive and believed to be the earliest known c.d.s. of Mandalay.
