1869 (21 June) entire letter ex the "Pescia" correspondence to Genoa, bearing De La Rue 8p. mauve (2), 4a, green and 8a. pale carmine, all with firm's chop and tied by "rangoon/156" (Type KD9), showing manuscript "1/-", red crayon "5½", the very rare "rangoon/p.d./post office" circular h.s. in red, oval-framed "p-d", framed "piroscafi/postali/italiani", Alexandria (British P.O.) transit c.d.s. (23.7) and, on reverse, Calcutta, Brindisi and arrival (30.7) datestamps. A rare and most delightful cover. Photo
