#305, 6c Claret, extraordinarily well centered amid margins of enormous size which are almost never encountered on this value, sumptuously rich color and a well incised impression on bright paper, o.g., n.h., an extremely fine large-margined gem.[cr][lf][cr][lf]The Six Cent value from the 1902-08 Third Bureau issue is, surprisingly, one of the most challenging to find in premium never hinged condition, as most are not terribly well centered and certainly not found with margins as seen on this remarkable stamp. The difficultly of the value is underscored by the fact that this stamp, which is graded XF-Superb 95 Jumbo, is the highest grade yet awarded to any never hinged Scott #305.[cr][lf][cr][lf]Accompanied by a 2008 PSE certificate (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $1,850.00 as 95 and $6,500.00 as 98); the highest grade assigned to any never hinged example, being one of only two to be so graded.[cr][lf][cr][lf] Estimate US$ 2,200-2,600
