Milled Silver (6) | George I (1714-1727), Shilling, 1720, first laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 5.88g, 6h (ESC 1168; Bull 1572; Spink 3646), scratched and contact marks, spots of dark toning, good fine; another, 1720 with large O, 5.91g, 5h (ESC 1169; Bull 1573; Spink 3646), more deeply toned and worn than the last; also George II (1727-1760), 'Old Head' Shilling, 1758, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned cruciform shields, eight strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6.00g, 5h (ESC 1213; Bull 1734; Spink 3704), with some flecking and softness, otherwise very fine; another, 5.98g, 5h; another, 1745, LIMA below, similar, 5.98g, 6h (ESC 1205; Bull 1724; Spink 3703), all toned, good very fine; also William IV (1830-1837), Groat, 1836, bare head right, rev. Britannia seated right, milled edge, 1.88g, 12h (ESC 1918; Bull 2515; Spink 3837), lustrous, extremely fine (6)
