NGC MS63 | *Top Pop* | William III, Solus (1694-1702), Half-Guinea, 1701, first laureate head right, rev. large crowned shields cruciform, five strings to shapely later harp, six billets, baluster-like emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, edge obliquely milled, 4.06g, 7h (Ellerby -; MCE 196; Schneider II, 522; EGC 442 [Type D/7]; Spink 3468), faint cabinet friction in otherwise gloriously original and honey-golden lustre fields, extremely fine but splendidly choice and much as issued, in NGC 'brown' holder, graded MS63 (Cert. #2056552-117)
