Anglo-Saxon, Primary Phase (c. 680-710), Sceatta (4), including, Series BX, Type 26, diademed bust right, beaded crescent before, shoulder breaking beaded circle, crescent ear, legend in margin, rev. bird on cross pattée on steps breaking beaded circle, annulets either side of cross and of steps, legend in margin, 1.12g [17.3grns] (North 124; Spink 776); and, Series BI, blundered legend, diademed bust right within serpent circle, rev. blundered legend, small cross with annulet at end of each horizontal arm, bird above, 1.12g [17.3grns] (North 125; Spink 777); also, Series BIIIA, blundered legend, diademed bust right, within serpent circle, rev. blundered legend, small cross with annulet at end of each horizontal arm, bird above within serpent circle, 1.22g [18.8grns] (North 125; Spink 777A); and lastly, Series C (C2), runic, radiate bust right, and Tepa before, ◇ behind, linear neck and exergual line rev. degenerate votive standard, cross pattée to sides, 1.15g [17.7grns] (North 41; Spink 779), all very fine (4)
