Pierre Bovington was born in December 1958 and served with 45 Commando from 1980-85. This saw him share in the Battle of the Two Sisters during the Falklands War. He latterly worked in Australia and as a Contractor for the United States Department of Defence in command of units of 60 men on operations in Iraq from 2006-14 and then on United States Mission Bases.
