(x) The Crimea Medal awarded to Sergeant G. Bolton, 1st Battalion, Coldstream Guards, who was killed in action at Sebastopol on 22 August 1855

Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Alma (Corpl. Geo. Bolton. Coldsm Gds.), officially impressed naming, very fine

George Bolton served with the Coldstream Guards in the Crimea. A family grave states: 'Sacred to the memory of Serjt. G. Boulton. 1st Bn Coldstream Gds. Killed in the Trenches 22nd August 1855.'

Further entitled to the clasp for Sebastopol.
